Razed on Mobile and Desktop: App or Browser?
Searches for a "Razed app" are common, and so are the pages that answer them with a download button. This guide takes a more careful line. We do not claim that Razed offers an app, and we do not link to any installer. What we do is explain how to find out whether an official app exists, which risks come with installing casino software outside the official stores, and why for most players in Germany the browser is the simpler route. We also cover one point many download guides forget: the German player protections depend on the operator's licence, not on whether you tap an icon or type an address.
Browser first: what you get without installing anything
A modern casino site is built to run in the mobile browser. You sign in with the same account, see the same balance and use the same cashier as on a computer. Nothing needs to be updated, nothing is stored on your phone except the usual browser data, and there is no file that could have been modified on its way to you. On a shared phone or one with little storage, this is usually the better choice.

Android and APK files: where the risk lies
Real-money casino apps are often not distributed through the usual app store channels, so operators sometimes offer an installation file (APK) on their own website. Installing such a file means allowing your phone to accept software from outside the store. That permission is exactly what fraudsters rely on: a modified installer can look identical to the real one and still capture your login details or payment data.
Our rules for APK files are strict:
- Only a file offered on the operator's official domain is worth considering — never one from a messenger channel, forum, video description or pop-up ad.
- Allow "install from unknown sources" only for the moment of installation and switch it off afterwards.
- If the file size or the name differs from what the official page states, delete it.
- Updates come through the same official route, never through a file someone sends you.
If you cannot find an APK on the official domain, do not look for one elsewhere. Use the browser.
iPhone and iPad
On iOS, apps come from the App Store. Whether a specific casino app is available there depends on the operator and the country, so a search result with a similar name proves nothing — lookalike apps are a known trick. Check on the operator's official site whether an iOS app is mentioned at all. If not, Safari is the way to play on an iPhone or iPad, with the home-screen shortcut described above for convenience.
Windows, Mac and desktop
On a computer there is rarely any reason to install a client. The site runs in any current browser, and a larger screen makes it easier to read bonus terms, cashier details and game information panels side by side. Installers "for Windows" offered on third-party pages are a common way to spread malware; close such pages. Your account is the same everywhere, so you can switch between phone and computer without doing anything.
The licence matters more than the device
Whether you play in an app or in the browser does not change which rules apply. At an operator on the GGL whitelist, the OASIS blocking system and the mandatory deposit limit apply on every device. At an operator without a German licence, an app does not add those protections. Security settings worth two minutes
Whatever route you choose: use a password that you do not use anywhere else, switch on two-factor login if it is offered, keep your phone's operating system up to date and lock the screen. Notifications from a casino app can be switched off completely in the phone settings — useful if promotional messages make it harder to keep to your plan.
